Job Title: Safety Engineer
Location: Dubai
We are looking for a detail-oriented Safety Engineer with a focus on subsea operations to ensure a safe working environment for offshore projects. The Safety Engineer will be responsible for implementing and overseeing safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations. This role involves working closely with project teams to proactively address hazards, promote a culture of safety, and manage incident reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop, implement, and maintain HSE protocols tailored to subsea and offshore operations.
– Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards in subsea work environments.
– Provide safety training, guidance, and support to onshore and offshore teams.
– Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and develop preventive measures.
– Prepare safety documentation and reports in compliance with regulatory and client requirements.
– Collaborate with project management to integrate safety considerations into planning and execution.
– Ensure compliance with industry standards, including ISO and other relevant certifications.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
– Prior experience as a Safety Engineer, ideally within the offshore or subsea sectors.
– Knowledge of relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
– Strong understanding of risk management and incident investigation methodologies.
– Certifications in offshore safety.
