Job Title: Online Surveyor

Location: Dubai

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Online Surveyor to contribute to subsea-related projects. This role involves overseeing and conducting hydrographic and geophysical surveys for offshore and nearshore environments, ensuring data accuracy and quality control. The ideal candidate has a strong technical understanding of survey principles, is skilled in the use of specialized equipment and software, and is committed to adhering to safety and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

– Conduct hydrographic and geophysical surveys to collect, process, and analyze subsea data.
– Operate and troubleshoot survey equipment, including sonar, GPS, ROV systems, and other measurement devices.
– Monitor real-time data acquisition, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
– Collaborate closely with project teams to develop survey plans and ensure successful execution.
– Prepare reports, charts, and maps that accurately represent survey findings.
– Implement quality control procedures and verify data integrity during survey operations.
– Coordinate with offshore teams to optimize survey efficiency and address technical challenges.
– Ensure strict compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) standards during all survey operations.

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics, Surveying, Geophysics, Marine Science, or a related field.
– Proven experience in hydrographic, geophysical, or subsea surveying.
– Proficiency with survey equipment, software (e.g., QINSy, EIVA, Hypack), and data processing.
– Strong understanding of marine survey principles, data acquisition, and quality assurance.
– Knowledge of HSE practices, especially in offshore environments.
– Ability to work independently in remote settings, with strong problem-solving skills.
– Excellent communication and reporting skills to present findings clearly.
– Valid offshore certifications (e.g., BOSIET, HUET) and willingness to travel as required.
